Pita Taco!

Here’s a nice twist to a taco. Instead of using Taco Shells I used pita bread, because I couldn’t find any taco shells in my kitchen. 😅 Enjoy!!! 
Taco in a Pita Pocket! 😋
– 2 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

– 1 Jalapeño, chopped. (I also used habanero peppers for extra spiciness)

– 1 lb of ground beef

– Taco Seasoning

– 1 cup of Monterey Jack

– 1 cup of cheddar cheese

– 1 Can of Fire-Roasted Crushed Tomatoes

– 2 Zucchini’s 

– Cilantro
– In a large skillet add olive oil 

– Add ground beef and cook until there’s no pink

– Drain the fat 

– Mix in Taco Seasoning, Zucchini, Peppers, Tomatoes, Cilantro, and Cheese.

– Add in your ingredients into the pita and enjoy!

Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Here’s a healthy alternative to many favorites’ Philly Cheesesteak. This tastes just as good as the original. This was so simple, affordable, and fun to make. Enjoy!! 😋
Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers 

🌟 4 Bell Peppers, halved

🌟 Thinly sliced sirloin steak

🌟 Sliced Mushrooms 

🌟 Salt

🌟 Black Pepper

🌟 Provolone Cheese


🌟Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Place peppers in a large baking dish and bake until tender, 20 minutes. 

🌟Meanwhile in a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add steak and cook about 1 minute per side. Set aside. 
🌟Add mushroom to skillet and season with salt and pepper. Return steak to skillet and stir to combine. 
🌟Add provolone to bottom of peppers and top with steak mixture. Top with another piece of provolone and broil, 3 minutes. 

🌟Serve hot.

Steak & Baked Potato

Yes, you can have your steak and still lose weight! I love this recipe. Quick, easy, and affordable. ❤️💪🏽👏🏽

Steak & Baked Potato

-Lean, Beef

-Steak seasoning 

-1 small russet potato, baked

-2 tbsp non fat sour cream

-1 tsp of chives, chopped

-Salt & pepper to taste

Season both sides of the steak with seasoning. Grill until desired doneness. Slice baked potato in half and top with non fat sour cream, chives, salt and pepper. 

I also put in the picture the BBQ sauce and salad dressing I used for the dish. Those are my go-to sauces whenever I make a meal at home.
